"This is a well made platform that was super easy to assemble. Unfortunately my drivers seat is a sheelmann and the seat belt lays under the platform. If I had kept the transit seat it would be a perfect fit. If you buy this product and have aftermarket seats you’re going to have to alter."

"I really like this dog bed bench, it fits perfectly, it’s at the correct floor angle for my Transit van, and most important my dog LOVES it! There are notch-outs cut into the sides of the for the front seat belt buckles however the notch-outs could be an inch longer as I had to move both front seats to their rearward positions to install and use the shelf. Both seats cannot be moved forward with the available clearance, though there is enough room for one or the other to be adjusted forward. I or anyone can notch it a little more but would be nice to receive it that way ;) I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone."
"Just what we were looking for! Fit like a glove, I did add foam knee pad material to make it more comfy for our doodle as we had a 2 day drive. OTV was super responsive in overnighting this to us as well as we were leaving on our trip and couldn’t wait for standard shipping. 5 stars ⭐️"

"When we purchased our Ford Transit cargo van my wife and I wondered how we could possibly create a platform that would fit between the seats so we could fasten a console car seat on it for our dog who is used to sitting between us in a console seat in our truck. However, the sloped floor between the seats presented a real challenge. As you might imagine, I was thrilled to find Out There Vans' brilliantly designed, lightweight, well-made Ford Transit Dog Platform as it appeared to be exactly what we needed. When it arrived and I quickly put it together and placed it between the seats I knew I had made a very wise investment. It is super easy to assemble, fits perfectly between the seats, and is a great platform for a console dog seat, or for anything else you might wish to fasten between the seats. When (for a moment) I questioned spending the money I quickly realized it was very well-priced considering the many hours (or days) and the wasted materials I would have ended up with trying to futz together something that would have been no where near as well fitting nor as easy to put up and take down when needed. As noted in the listing, this platform will only fit between the seats if your Ford Transit van has an electronic parking brake, as a manual parking brake would prevent it from properly sitting between the seats. If you have a Ford Transit van with an electronic parking brake and you are looking for a platform that will allow you to effectively utilize the sloped space between the seats you will love this well-crafted innovation!"
