ABOUT US
Out There Vans builds custom camper vans and van components that are functional, durable & inviting.
Our mission is to help you build the perfect mobile basecamp that has everything you need for your next adventure.
Out There Vans is a van conversion company and online camper van components retailer based out of Grand Junction, Colorado. Founded in 2020, Out There Vans is owned and operated by Zach Nichols and Hannah Condon. We are a young couple who share a passion for outdoor adventures. When we are not busy designing products and building vans, we enjoy hiking in the Colorado National Monument, skiing on the Grand Mesa, and hitting the road for camping excursions with our dog Dandelion.
We manufacture prefabricated cabinetry, door panels, tabletops, and our signature dog platform. In addition to our own products, we also sell camper van components and camping supplies from brands including VanEssential, Van Wife Components, Fiamma, and more.
Our mission is to help you create the perfect mobile base camp by helping you find the right components for your needs.

Zach Nichols
Co-owner & Operator
Zach is well acquainted with outdoor living. He lived out of his backpack while through-hiking the Colorado Trail and John Muir Trail. He then went on to travel the United States in his Chevy Equinox before graduating to a van, which he lived in for a summer while working in Aspen. Zach studied digital marketing at the University of Northern Iowa. Before founding Out There Vans, he worked in the outdoor industry as a zipline guide at CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains and snowmobile guide at T-Lazy-7 Ranch. He grew up helping his parents remodel their 100 year-old Iowa home; little did he know those skills would come in handy building custom vans.

Hannah Condon
Co-owner & Operator
Hannah is a lifelong Colorado resident whose passion for the outdoors began at an early age hiking with her parents in the Roaring Fork Valley. She developed a special fondness for the desert when her dad began taking her on spring break camping trips in first grade, an annual tradition which they continue today. Her favorite places to visit include Grand Staircase-Escalante, Bears Ears & Goblin Valley. Hannah studied visual art at Grinnell College. Before founding Out There Vans, she worked in communications at The Art Base community art center and coordinated art programming at the Basalt Regional Library. She loves applying her background in art to design vans & this website. You can check out her art at hannahcondonart.com
