Yes. We operate on a commissioned build basis, so you purchase the van of your choice and deliver it to us, and we take the conversion from there. If you need help selecting or sourcing a van for your build, we are happy to help!
Our turnaround time for a Gateway build is 8-12 weeks after the scheduled start date.
We do not offer financing at this time.
We do not have any completed vans for sale at this time.
We do not transport or ship clients' vans. If you are unable to deliver or pick up your van in person, we are happy to help you coordinate a third party shipping company to transport your van.
No. While we have installed showers in previous van conversions, we no longer install indoor showers in the vans we build.
Why? Floor space and water are at a premium in a camper van, and an indoor shower uses up an inordinate amount of both these resources. The average van has 60 sq ft of floor space, and an indoor shower will require approximately 6 sq feet of that floor space. Furthermore, an interior shower requires at least 25 gallons of fresh water storage and even then, the shower will blow through that fresh water supply quickly, especially with two people. Based on our own experience and input from fellow vanlifers, when you take these sacrifices of space and water into account, it's much more practical to shower at a campground, gym, or take a wet bath with a washcloth and baby wipes.
We will, however, install an on demand hot water rear door shower unit for rinsing off.
As of 2025, we exclusively build our Gateway and Monument model vans. This allows us to keep our van builds affordable while still offering a design with a customizable upgrades and a wide array of color options.
In addition to custom van conversions, we also provide partial van builds and component installation services. We install solar electrical systems, parking heaters, and other components to existing rigs. If you are working on a DIY van build but want to outsource certain steps of the process such as insulation or electrical wiring, we can help with that, too.
