Venting Requirement: This tank is designed for non-pressurized systems and must be properly vented to open air to operate safely.
Drilling Sealed Ports: The 1.5" NPT ports arrive sealed from the factory to protect tank integrity. You must drill out these pre-marked areas to open them for plumbing.
Sprinter & Transit Clearance: When installed in a Sprinter or Transit, the clearance space between the tank contour and the wheel well provides a pocket for thermal or acoustic insulation.
