Important Notes & Pro Tips

  • Tools Required: Installation requires a rivnut installation tool (hand squeeze or drill attachment), an 11mm drill bit, and a 6mm drill bit.
  • Utilize Existing Holes: On factory OEM Sprinter seat bases, you can utilize the two pre-existing holes by simply enlarging them with your 11mm drill bit to accommodate the M8 rivnuts.
  • Aftermarket Base Installation: If installing on an aftermarket swivel base without pre-existing holes, align the bracket as low to the floor as possible (leaving just under an inch of floor clearance) before marking and drilling your mounting holes.
