Important Notes & Pro Tips

  • Orientation Guide: Left and Right orientation is always determined from the driver’s perspective (the driver’s seat). When you are sitting in the van, "Right" is the passenger side and "Left" is the driver's side.
  • Surface Prep is Critical: For the 3M VHB tape to bond permanently, the application area must be 100% free of wax, dirt, and ceramic coatings. We recommend a thorough cleaning with isopropyl alcohol before peel-and-stick application.
  • Installation Environment: For the best adhesive bond, install these flares in a dry environment with temperatures between 60°F and 90°F. If installing in colder weather, a heat gun can be used to gently warm the van's sheet metal.
  • Cure Time: Avoid high-pressure car washes or high-speed driving for at least 24 hours after installation to allow the adhesive to fully set.
